I found Ballistic Menswear because a photographer tweeted about the Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada-based brand. Ballistic has underwear for sale now, but the brand plans to offer swimwear and gym wear for sale in the future.
Author’s note: I wrote a blog post about Kyle Hynick, a model who is from Halifax.
Ballistic sells briefs and two types of boxer briefs: mesh and athletic. The size charts from Ballistic underwear is located conveniently on the product page.
The fabric composition (for the briefs and mesh boxer briefs) is 95 percent bamboo viscose and 5 percent Spandex. The boxer briefs have a mesh panel in the front; the athletic boxer briefs have solid fabric.
For the athletic boxer briefs, the fabric composition is 95 percent Polyester and 5 percent Spandex.
Ballistic Menswear uses Canada Post and DHL (outside Canada).
Payment Accepted
When I published this post, the brand accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.
Conclusion
Ballistic Menswear daily underwear, with a little bit of daring (with the mesh underwear versions). With the nice selection of colors and good size range, many guys can find something they like.
In August 2020, Box Menswear released 4 new underwear styles. One was a new version of the King Fit boxer, the Evo version. Three other styles were more bold selections within the well-searched and competitive men’s lingerie category:
Suspender jock
G-string
All over lace boxers
The new range is a departure from the current range of men’s underwear available for sale at Box. Based on the number of people searching for items in the men’s lingerie category, it is a good bet. The available sizes for the new range are XS to XXL. (Further details are below in this article.)

Note: At the time that this post was published, the new items are available for pre-order.
Other New Items
In addition to these new items, I have learned that there are other new releases, for example, new colors for the king fit boxer brief as well as shorts. (Further details are below in this article.)
Presenting Matt Luscious and Photographer Paul Jamnicky
In viewing Box Menswear’s Instagram pages, I saw previews of the new range. Photographer Paul Jamnicky and Canadian fitness model Matt Luscious created images, with Matt wearing the new range. Both men posted photos on their respective Instagram pages.
In October 2020, Matt competed in his first classic physique competition.
.With the new Evo version, there are several changes from the current version. The first is the bigger waistband with larger lettering for the brand. According to the brand description, the Evo is made of cotton fabric.
(The current king fit boxers have a fabric composition of Body: 96 percent bamboo viscose, 4 percent elastane; vent: 88 percent polyamide, 12 percent Spandex.)

The Evo features more room in the front as well. The Evo only comes in one color, nude (appears to be a beige color).
Suspender Jock
The suspender jock is a new addition to Box’s jockstraps range. The suspender jock, like the king fit Evo, features a bigger waistband with the larger typeface of the brand. The styling of the jockstrap is different in two ways:
The rear of the jockstrap has more straps, the usual two at the rear but bigger and more elastic grip. There are two vertical straps are each side.
The front of the jockstrap has a blue fabric panel, with an opening at the top.

The overall look is strong yet more revealing. You can see more images (NSFW) on the website.
G-String
The G-string is a more-revealing brief style. The only real fabric covering the g-string is the front, which is a thin, see-through material. There are thin straps that have the brand name which hold the g-string on the body.
You can see more images (NSFW) on the Box Menswear website.
All Over Lace Boxers
With the lace boxers, the wearer gets fabric coverage like a boxer brief, but the fishnet-style solid fabric is see-through. The styling is similar to the new king fit Evo style discussed above.
You can see more images (NSFW) on the Box Menswear website.
Conclusion
With the suspender jock, g-string, and lace boxers, Box Menswear has made its entry into the men’s lingerie market. After glancing at the search traffic numbers, the category has high interest, and many brands trying to fulfill the wants of the people in this market.
Perhaps, you want to add some variety to your underwear selections. Check out what Box has to offer.

Kyle Hynick is a mens physique competitor and fitness model from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He did a photoshoot for Box Menswear in New York. (Note: Fellow model Josh Riquelme was at the same photoshoot.)
Kyle is 6 feet (1.83 meters) tall. Kyle is a Leo (birthday August 16). Kyle also has a page at Model Mayhem.
Along with fitness influencer physique and workout photos, Kyle also has an Instagram page where he models streetwear outfits, including the grunge style.
The grunge style includes flannel overshirts (including some with customized embroidery), graphic tees, and distressed jeans or cargo pants. It is a rugged, relaxed look.
Kyle lives in Atlantic Canada. With the pandemic, there are some Canadians leaving the cities to live in less-expensive areas, for example, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
According to Statistics Canada, about 33,000 people from other provinces migrated to the region of 2.5 million people in the first half of this year alone, compared with about 18,500 in the same period in 2005.
Many of the new arrivals are millennials, Ms. Freestone said, motivated by the new “You only live once” economy. Some were filling important labor gaps in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, including in the technology and health care sectors.

Kyle in the United Kingdom, 2021
Kyle returned to the United Kingdom in November 2021 to do a photo shoot with Box Menswear. (Get more details on his Instagram.)
The photo shoot location is Westbury Castle in Wales, UK. The photographers on the photo shoot are–
Alex and Jake were photographers on Box Menswear’s 2019 photo shoot. (Kyle also did the 2019 photo shoot.)
Jade Young in Manhattan, New York City
When Kyle posted these photos on Instagram, I thought they were a photomontage. (No one in the crowds of people is looking at him.) Nevertheless, the 2019 photos are really in Times Square, New York City. Someone who saw him there wrote a comment. The photographer is Jade Young.
Check out a related blog post on Times Square, Calvin Klein billboard ads, and today’s fitness influencers.
Author’s note: Some of Kyle’s photos with Jade were featured in DNA Magazine.

Workout Transformation; A One-Time YouTuber
In doing a search on YouTube, I found that Kyle had been a fitness YouTuber starting about 8 years ago. At the time, Kyle was focused more on bodybuilding. A transformation video received 2.3 million views in 2013, according to an interview of Kyle in a Canadian newspaper.
In mens physique, the contestants wear board shorts and do semi-flexed body poses. The emphasis is on overall physique not muscularity. The categories are determined by height only; there are no weight classes.
While at the Texas Box Menswear photoshoot, Kyle was in pre-contest condition. In October 2019, after the Texas photoshoot, Kyle competed in and won the novice mens physique division at the 2019 St. John Fall Classic in Canada.

In early 2019, Kyle was in New York for a photo shoot for Box Menswear, with Photographer Jade Young. Also, at that photo shoot was New York-based model Josh Riquelme. In July 2020, DNA Magazine featured some of the images from Kyle’s photo shoot with Jade.
In November 2020, Kyle was featured in an advertorial in Attitude Magazine for Box.

Texas
Later in 2019, Kyle was in Texas for the 2019 Box Menswear photo shoot. (Josh Riquelme was also at this photoshoot.)
While in Florida, Kyle did a photo shoot with Photographer Steven Schmidt. Photographer Schmidt mentioned that Seth Holbrook connected him with Kyle. I have noticed how the models from the Box Menswear photo shoot in Texas have supported each other.
